Coordinated with Zomato Support and the restaurant called me back saying they will deliver the missing items. For a moment I was skeptical that for a drink and fries they'd go to all that trouble and was about to tell them that "it was fine, no need just make sure to check the items prior dispatch next time to avoid any incovenience to them, the driver and the customer" I kept silent instead and waited because I was curious on how the management would handle the situation.
Twenty minutes later, driver came back with my drink and fries.

Yes, a drink and fries were not a big deal and I could have let it go but then it wouldn't hurt either for the restaurants to be extra careful next time to avoid such situations from happening. Nobody wants to open a box of goodies and be disappointed; neither do we, the customers, want to complain and leave a bad review. Let it be a lesson for all of us.

As for the food, the machboos rice was really delicious, so was the grilled chicken. I liked the lentil soup too ????????????
