The waitress Avery was exceptional! She was fast,friendly and attentive and is a very competent person. We definitely are looking forward to coming back. Thats refreshing in today's world. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch

I came here hungry and left with trust issues. Came for dinner today around 5:40 pm. Ordered a water, my fiancé and her friend got pops. Yea this part plays into it. I ordered the southwest chicken salad and it was inedible due to the chicken being so burnt carbon dust was just everywhere so I didn’t eat the salad. No concern on why the food was pretty much untouched. Minus points on that too. Our friend got a burger so dry that even dipping it in Pepsi didn’t help. My fiancé got a chicken club sandwich and it was alright but she got a poutine on the side which tasted soooooo bad. I’m not one to leave reviews but this experience has genuinely disappointed me and ruined my Saturday. Oh yea the water and drinks, I never got any refill and neither did my fiance however our friend got a new Pepsi when she wasn’t even half way done the other one. The atmosphere was not thrilling and nothing special. This review was written at the Wendy’s parking lot down the street. A refund would be nice. Thx. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was the second time trying Simcoe Arms take out, the first time I ordered for my household and I got the Philly steak. I was extremely disappointed as it was a soggy mess of sandwich that was more uncooked fat than steak on a bun which would have been comparable to a wet sponge. However we felt we should try again as my wife loved the cranberry and Brie turkey sandwich. So I placed a take out order for another sandwich and 2 of the beef perogies poutines. I was told it would be 30mins until the food was ready. My son and I arrived at the 30min mark to pick up our food, and after being ignored at the front door by a hostess and 2 serves we were finally directed to go and pick up at the bar. So my son and I walk up to the bar and see a bag of takeout on the bar by the cash with 3 containers, I assumed it was mine and paid. However we were told the food wasn’t ready yet and would be another 2-3mins. Not a problem, nice and fresh I thought. We ended up waiting between 20-25mins for our food, only for the staff to finally realize that our food was sitting on the bar the entire time. No apologies given, no explanation, no offer to make fresh food. This was also after the staff checked with the kitchen twice about the status of my order. I wasn’t given a chance to complain or anything, they handed me the bag and walked away like nothing happened. The bartender was extremely nice and offered my son a glass of chocolate milk, which was wonderful and I felt really added to a positive experience. However it was absolutely thrown out the window after being handed cold food that had been sitting and waiting the entire time. I emailed management about the issue prior to posting a review, however after waiting a week and being ignored, clearly they do not care about addressing customer complaints.
