Reputedly popular eatery for its burgersunfortunately it is HIT-OR-MISS. It’s a nice local restaurant/bar, good ambiance. The Menu is rather longish but navigable. It has a good listing of burgers. There is also a decent drinks menu of cocktails and local Artesanal beers . The Cochinita Burger is good. Good tasting pork burger, tender & juicy. The Cordero (lamb) Burger is equally flavorful BUT the mermalada cebolla is HORRIBLY SWEET the flavor. Stuffing the fries onto the patty made it tolerable . Service is very spotty. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available

We finally made it to Simple Cocina Creativa after trying for weeks to line up our schedule (we eat early, so that might’ve been part of the problem!). Overall, it was a good experience with a few mixed notes. Brandon ordered the ginger pistachio lemonade, which was excellent — really unique and well balanced. Unfortunately, he didn’t love his blue cheese burger. He felt the flavors were a bit overpowering together, and texture-wise everything was soft. He mentioned it was missing some crunch for contrast. I ordered a burger as well and enjoyed mine. It wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, but I would definitely order it again. The fries were crispy and very flavorful — one of the highlights of the meal. Our daughter ordered the Cuenca Burger and absolutely loved it. She was full by the end, which says a lot. Our youngest had the chicken wings (more like roasted chicken pieces) with fries. There wasn’t much sauce, but she was happy with it. For four of us, with one specialty drink, it came to just under $50. Decent price for the quality and atmosphere. Would we return? Yes. We’d just order a little differently next time.
