Simple Gyro used to be one of our family favorites because the food has always been good, flavorful, and consistent. But our most recent visit left us unhappy for one reason only — the prices were outrageous. We spent over $80 for a family of five, and that’s before our military discount. A basket that once included fries now requires you to pay for fries separately, and drinks are no longer included with anything, not even the kids’ meals. Each sauce is basically a dollar, and the fry portions are tiny considering the extra charge. It genuinely feels like they nickel‑and‑dime you for every single item now. Spending that kind of money would make sense at a fancy restaurant or for seafood, but for a burger‑and‑walking‑taco type of spot, it’s wild. The food wasn’t the issue — the pricing structure is. No wonder they don’t get as much business anymore. We left disappointed because the value simply doesn’t match the cost anymore. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
