A long train trip from Melbourne for brunch... and to have a look around Bendigo. Had the sublime cinnamon sugar waffles with stewed apple & rhubarb, ice cream, balsamic reduction and a flat white. The waffles were perfect, with simple yet very effective flavours that work well together. They were on the specials board but maybe Sim'r may put them on the regular menu? The coffee was so good I bought a bag of beans to take home. Very friendly and efficient service from the staff at Sim'r. Recommended. Price per person: $40–60
