After enjoying Chinatown, go to this restaurant that is not far away. Cantonese and Chinese cuisines under the direction of the popular chef are gorgeous here. It's time to relax and try tasty fried chicken, crabs and flounder. According to the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve delicious beer. At Sing Kee, clients can order good tea, juice or coffee.

This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Most visitors point out that prices are attractive for what you get. There is a nice atmosphere and beautiful decor at this spot. But this restaurant isn't granted a high rating on Trip.

PRE-REVIEW: DEADLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE: This is a pre-review of the Sing Kee Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown of Manhattan, New York, based on my visiting here on September 20 (Thursday) 2018 (4:41 PM). This is "pre-review" because this eatery was closed. I understand any businesses may face sudden urgent matter to be taken care of and they have no choice but close the establishment immediately for a day or two. NEVERTHELESS, not leaving even a single sheet of courtesy messages outside of the establishment is a completely different matter. This tells their lack of professionalism of running a business as well as lack of the respect to their very own customers. I can not even give this restaurant one star for what I experienced today here. MY THOUGHTS OF THE YELP REVIEW STATISTIC: THIS RESTAURANT SEEMS CLOSED MOST OF THE TIME SINCE JULY 2018: Here is the data about the previous yelp reviews for the Sing Kee Seafood Restaurant. Personally, I find this statistic very interesting. 2018.0902 - 4 stars by CA 2018.0814 - 1 star by NJ 2018.0704 - 3 stars by NY Elite 2018.0628 - 4 stars by CA 2018.0625 - 5 stars by NY 2018.0525 - 5 stars by NY Elite 2018.0520 - 2 stars by NY 2018.0519 - 3 stars by MA Elite 2018.0514 - 5 stars by CA 2018.0421 - 3 stars by FL Elite 2018.0410 - 5 stars by NY Elite 2018.03 (March) had 3 reviews by AZ, NY, NY 2018.02 (February) had 3 reviews by FL, NY, NY The last 7 months of this restaurant's data tells me many interesting things. For an example, this restaurant's operation dates (actual days for engaging the wage-earning business) seems dramatically decreased, based on the per review ratio shown here. During the 5 month period (between February and June of this year) they received 14 reviews. This means they got average 2.8 review per months (14 divide by 5 equal 2.8). Nevertheless, they got barely one review in each month of July, August, and September (as of today 9/20) of this year. I understand the possibility of the anomaly for a short period of time. Nevertheless what I see here in these 3 months is NOT the case. Granted that many New Yorkers take out-of-town-vacations during the summer months BUT this data tells the reviews by the New Yorkers contribute only about the half of the submitted reviews for this restaurant for each month (average during February and September 2018). Therefore, I can NOT treat the data of July, August, and especially September (already the vacation time is over) as a simple anomaly caused by the New Yorkers for the vacation. Although, there is still 16.67% (50% divided by 30 and multiplied by 10 equal 16.67%) chance of a review to be posted here by New Yorker for this restaurant by the end of this month IF I exclude my yelp review post here. (Reference: Anomaly: something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected. MY MORE THOUGHTS: The very first yelp review for this authentic Cantonese Chinese restaurant here in the heart of the Chinatown in Manhattan was posted on December 11 2011. They have been reviewed 178 times (excluding the updated multiple reviews posted by the same person) during the past 6 years and 9 month. This means it received average 2.2 reviews monthly. (178 divided by 6.75 and then divided by 12 again equal 2.2). This is absolutely NOT a recently opened restaurant business for a small number of very specialized custom with the freakish experimental menu or foods. Their monthly review number gradually increased from the 2.2 to 2.8 up to the end of June this year, and this pattern suddenly changed (went down to just 1.0). UPDATE: Today, September 24 (Monday) at 1:30 PM, I visited this restaurant again. Sadly, it was closed again and without any written notice in the front of this establishment. I can not even tell whether they even open only for the dinner time or not now. Dr. Takeshi Yamada and Seara (Coney Island sea rabbit)   My awesome photograph is posted here.
