Tried Sips on the Square on a recent visit to Troy. I graduated from Troy State (several years ago lol), I am glad to see the square adding more inviting venues. The atmosphere was inviting and fun. We tried the pizza it was good. Unfortunately the service was poor. There was a "color run" just ending and the place was packed, there was one poor waitress. She tried but made several mistakes, I do not blame her, she was trying her best. Should have been better staffed. Having said this, I will go back to give it another try when I am back in football season. Would love to see the place succeed. Oh and I did leave the waitress a 50% tip, like I said it wasn't her fault.
