This was my second time coming here, and I really enjoyed the food. The food is delicious, and I can definitely see why people like this place. However, I was a little disappointed with the customer service again.I was sitting outside, but I was asked to go inside to place my order. I understand that this may be part of the way the restaurant operates, but because the place feels a little more like a fancy restaurant, especially being an award-winning venue, I was expecting a more attentive table-service experience. It would have been nice if staff could come to the outdoor tables to take orders, or at least check in during the meal to see how everything was. Nobody came to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything. I also would have appreciated a little explanation about the dishes when they were served. I understand that the menu explains what is included, but I feel that a brief explanation from the staff would make the experience feel more welcoming and professional. Overall, I really like the food and this was my second visit, so I would still come back. I just think the customer service and table experience could be improved to better match the quality of the food and the restaurant’s reputation. Si Sea is a non-negotiable stop for anyone looking for the ultimate ocean-to-plate experience in Adelaide. It delivers an unforgettably vibrant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed perching right on the bar stools, enjoying incredibly clean, premium seafood that proves exactly why they earned the title of Best SA Seafood Restaurant. We sampled a few of their standout dishes, and these three are absolute must-orders: ️ Must-Order Signature Dishes: Coffin Bay Oysters: As fresh as it gets! Shucked on demand, these pristine South Australian oysters are plump, crisp, and beautifully briny. They are a flawless, refreshing starter. Baked Scallops: A total flavor bomb. Served bubbling hot in a rich, decadent garlic butter sauce, they are perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. Pro-tip: make sure to use the shell to catch every last drop of that amazing butter! Grilled Octopus: Cooked to absolute perfection. It features beautifully tender octopus tentacles given just the right amount of char, delivering smoky, savory discs of meat with an addictive edge. Pro-Tips for Future Diners: Online Booking: Reserve a counter stool directly through their booking portal ahead of time. We walked in and managed to grab seats after a 10-minute wait, but booking guarantees your spot. The Perfect Pairing: Do not skip ordering a glass of crisp, icy-cold South Australian white wine or local bubbles. It cuts through the rich garlic butter of the seafood beautifully. A brilliant, high-quality seafood experience right in the beating heart of Adelaide. A flawless recommendation for all seafood lovers!
