We enjoyed the food very much and appreciate the extra care to ensure my order was gluten free/safe. The atmosphere may bother some but I focus on excellent food & service which are harder to find these days. I accidentally placed an order and called within one minute to cancel. Instead of handling it promptly, they stalled and delayed until the food was already prepared, which made my cancellation request seem unreasonable then. For context, I’ve ordered from this place close to ten times and have probably spent 600ish here in total, so this isn’t based on a single experience. Overall, the service was mediocre at best. Prices are higher than most places on Franklin Street, yet the quality does not justify it. In such a location, it’s unacceptable. The dumplings appear to be frozen rather than freshly made. I have doubts about the freshness of the filling, the oil tasted off, and the wrappers felt overly thick and doughy, almost like undercooked paste. There is significant room for improvement. Despite being delivery-only with no dine-in option, the service attitude was still poor and felt more focused on extracting money than providing a good experience. It may only appeal to freshie who haven’t had much exposure to good Asian food. So disappointing, won’t be ordering again. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I spotted Sister Liu's Kitchen from the highway last weekend and it just looked like somewhere I had to stop by! There are certain occasions where I can already tell the food will be good before trying it and this was one of those times. You are able to order online or at a kiosk located in front of the store. The owner was very kind and checked in on us when we arrived before placing our order. You are then able to communicate via text when you arrive and our order was completed in a timely manner. We had ordered the pork chive dumplings which fulfilled our cravings. Everything is homemade and there was a lot of love put into these dumplings. The dumplings were soft and the filling was seasoned perfectly. The sauce that came with them helps add a little more flavor if you need it but they are also perfectly fine on their own! There were some other menu items we wanted to try but they were sold out. So, we will have to stop by here again when we are in the area. Definitely support this place if you like local businesses that make delicious food! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
