Not a big fan. Cacio e Pepe was oversauced. Chicken was undersalted & small portion. Service was lovely but I feel like they’re trying to game it with an extra splash of wine & a free cream puff dessert. Everyone there was American in tourist clothes…I’d avoid. An excellent surprise in Rome. The food was outstanding, and the team made a genuine effort to find us a table even though we arrived without a reservation. That kind of welcoming, attentive service explains why the restaurant is so highly rated, especially in an area surrounded by venues with spectacular views. Sistina 52 may not rely on a panoramic terrace, but it stands out through the quality of its cuisine and the warmth of its hospitality. The wine selection is somewhat limited, but the Chianti we chose was excellent and paired very well with the meal.
