As newcomers to the area, we’ve been exploring local restaurants, and Sixth Street Steakhouse pleasantly surprised us. The restaurant’s 1970s building exudes character, and while it may show its age, it adds to the cozy atmosphere. Atmosphere (5/5): The ambiance here is warm and inviting. The vintage decor, dim lighting, and friendly staff create a delightful dining experience. NY Strip Steak (4/5): The star of the show! The NY Strip Steak was cooked to perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and paired well with our choice of wine. Service (4/5): The service is normally attentive; we understand that every restaurant has its off days, so we are always gracious. Our server, Adri, did a great job taking care of us. Side Dishes (3.9/5): While the steak stole the spotlight, the sides were decent. We recommend trying the soup and salad bar, which seems to be the talk of the town. We have never seen anything like it. Overall, Sixth Street Steakhouse is a hidden gem worth discovering. If you appreciate a touch of history, good food, and a touch of nostalgia, this place won’t disappoint. We’ll definitely be back for more!
