If you are a Westerner who has been in Japan for several days and are craving salad then go here. You get the salad bar with your main that includes the self serve desert and soft drinks. So I’d advise ordering a cheaper main knowing it isn’t going to be extraordinarily impressive and eat all the salad your heart desires. Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We’ve been in Tokyo for a week, we’ve eaten a lot of sushi (A LOT OF SUSHI) and fried food, but after days and days of rice and oil based meals we needed something with actual vegetables. This is the place to go. You can actually eat a full salad, multiple salads, and get the fibre and nutrition your body is craving. Don’t rely on fibre and nutrient jelly from the convenience store, go here for the salad bar. You buy a grill main (about 5000¥) and you get the main, the salad bar, the desserts, the pasta/curry/taco/nachos, the drinks. It has an ice cream machine, it has fruit, it has hot and cold drinks. The pasta bar curry consists of seafood or beef curry. Honestly the main is pretty mid, but the salad bar, drinks and dessert make the meal. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I haven’t visited a Sizzler for decades, so when I found one near the Tokyo Dome, I decided to give it a try (visit took place mid Dec 2025 in the evening on a Thursday). As with most US franchises overseas, the prices were significantly higher than in the states. The quality of the food was mediocre. The salad bar was decent, but nothing to rave about. There were some young kids (6 to 8 years old) running around and making a making a mess of the salad bar. The employees didn’t intervene because the children were allegedly the offspring of a big Japanese baseball star. Additionally, the kids kept screaming which ruined our dinner. We also ordered red wine and were served white wine. When we informed the waiter of his error, he apologized but appeared perturbed with us. After the correct wine was served, we were told dinner is limited to two hours and we were presented our check. We found this quite rude as we had only been in the restaurant for a period of 45 minutes. We assumed this action was to get us to leave. The restaurant was no where near to capacity, but the staff appeared to be overworked and stressed. We remained for another 30 minutes, paid and left. The cost of the product received doesn’t represent any value to the consumer. I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend anyone else given the lack of customer service. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
