We visited Ještěd for our first time skiing and had a very disappointing experience with the staff. At the main information point, the staff member refused to speak English and told us to ask elsewhere, despite us clearly explaining we were beginners. The attitude was very rude. At the ski school, we were told all trainers were fully booked, but when we checked online there was availability for the same day. When we mentioned this, we were told the online system was “not accurate.” Very unwelcoming and discouraging for first-time skiers and foreigners.

Lovely place 1 h drive from Prague they even have bus service which picks you up from Prague in the morning and takes u back to Prague in the evening ski rental restaurants bars can only recommend Video is from January 2024 when snow conditions were very good and all slopes were open you can see regular updates on their website

You have to be very aware at this place of stealing skis, snowboards and even cars right from the parking lot. Nice place but I will never go there again. Jested is definitely not a peacefull place to ski.
