I'm in town visiting and looked for a quick, easy place to eat some dinner. Skillets turned out to be a not very wise choice. There was one large group when I entered, and I sat down at a booth, placed my drink order, followed shortly by my meal order (marinated chicken breast, baked potato, and a salad). I then waited. The salad came out immediately and was nothing more than lettuce & 2 packets of crackers. Now, the wait was on. A to go order was phoned in, plus several dine in tables were sat, and still I waited. My ticket time was over thirty minutes when my dinner arrived. The potato was small, other than that it was fine. The green beans were quite good, but it fell apart at the chicken. The breast was thin, had an off taste, and was rubbery. I'm confident that, if I ever do return here, I won't get the same thing.
