October 2021 this restaurant has closed and the space is for rent. Update October 2021 , response to the owner’s comment below: Dear Owner, In the past year after COVID many businesses like yours have closed permanently, but google maps sometimes does not state permanent closures efficiently. I came across your closed storefront as I was planning to dine there via finding you on google maps, but found the diner closed. In order for other searchers to not waste time making the same mistake, I left the review. To be helpful. One star, in order to leave the review (you can’t leave a zero star review). Thank you for taking the the time to send me your message. I will tell the Michelin reviewers to not spend time on your F.U.ture restaurants.

Haven't really eaten anything in the past 4 days so I was looking for somewhere to eat to satisfy my hunger. Came across this place on Yelp and saw it had good reviews so I wanted to check it out for myself. Just the sight of people's pictures of the burgers made me really hungry and it was practically the only thing on my mind all day. Decided to make it a night out, and reserved a table relatively late into the evening. Finding the place was more than alright. It's hardly hard to miss. In the middle of Spain something America styled sticks out like a saw thumb. As I don't speak much Spain, I was worried that communicating was going to be a little tough but turned out to be more than alright. There was a tone of options on the menu to choose from but had to stick with what I saw on the website which was Pulled Pork Burger, Chicken Stripes and Chips with bacon on. When the food came I was pretty overwhelmed if I'm honest. I got my money's worth. I thought I'd get three or four Chicken Stripes but turns out it was a basket. The burger was really big and chock full as well. It was really yummy and didn't even touch the sides. I couldn't manage it all so some of it had to be taken back in a bag which I'll eat at home. Overall, great service, great food, great music/atmosphere and a great night out. Well worth it!

Con ganas de cenar algo nuevo, decidí probar Skyline Diner, un restaurante ubicado en el Barrio de las Letras en pleno centro de Madrid. Como sugiere su nombre es comida americana con un ambiente neoyorquino de lo más acogedor. Entrantes de lo más típico: Nachos, Aros de Cebolla (con una salsa barbacoa excepcional) y Jalapeños rebozados, para chuparse los dedos, ¡que admito haber hecho!. De principal: Un Pull Pork Sandwich. Una hamburguesa algo diferente. Tiernas hebras de carne de cerdo, con salsa de barbacoa de la casa y queso Monterrey Jack derretido, el pan tierno y tostado. De postre... ¡Como no!, una tarta de manzana (auténticamente estadounidense) que se derretía con tan sólo mirarla, hecha con mucha canela. ¡Una gozada para compartirla o ser goloso y disfrutarla tú sólo! En resumen, un auténtico diner estadounidense en pleno corazón de la capital de España significa que ya no hay que sufrir más las imitaciones "plásticas". Relación calidad-precio: Por unos €25 por persona creo que se ajusta al bolsillo y teniendo en cuenta la ubicación, es razonable. Wanting to dine something new, I decided to try Skyline Diner, a restaurant located in the "Barrio de las Letras" in central Madrid. As the name suggests, it's American food with a New York feel and a most welcoming ambience. Typical starters: Nachos, Onion Rings (with an exceptional barbecue sauce) and deep fried jalapenos, absolutely delicious! Main: A Pull Pork Sandwich. A somewhat different hamburger. Tender strands of pork with the house's barbecue sauce and melted Monterrey Jack cheese. The bread bap, fresh and lightly toasted. Dessert ... An honest-to-goodness apple pie (truly American) that melted just by looking at it, made with plenty of cinnamon. A joy to share or to be greedy, and enjoy it by yourself! In short, an authentic American diner in the heart of the capital of Spain means that you no longer have to suffer those more "plastic" imitations. Value-For-Money: For approx. € 25 per person, taking into account the location and the great quality, it's a reasonably priced restaurant.
