We were actually heading to a different pizza spot after we had a craving for an NY style pie, and were stopped at the traffic lights outside when we saw this place. What a gem. The reviews for Slice Syndicate talk about the mozzarella sticks and they are not wrong. They are big bits of cheese with a pecorino dusting for good measure and really hit the spot! Definitely worth it as a side. The burrata pizza itself was really tasty. The marina was fresh, herby and garlicky and the burrata cheese fresh, on a super crispy New York style base. It’s one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had in a long while, although when we return we will sit in to get the best of it straight out the oven as it had cooled down a lot by the time we drove home (can’t be helped and of course the risk when collecting). Will definitely be back to try a different pizza and will be dreaming of the mozzarella sticks. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got the pepperoni pizza (we got literally the final pizza dough in the whole shop!) and the mozzarella sticks! Both were amazing, and the pizza was plenty for two. The mozzarella sticks are literally insane, they’re huge and delicious!! And the staff was wonderful! 100/10, can’t wait to go back :) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing pizza, feels authentically New York. This sounds dramatic, but genuinely the best fries Ive ever had - and you get a tonne of them. Genuinely nothing negative to say about them. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
