Slow Time is a cozy cafe located on Harajuku in Sagamihara, offering a tranquil escape for solo diners. Known for its great coffee, the cafe provides a simple ambiance without the worry of overpowering fragrances, which creates a comforting atmosphere complemented by gentle lighting and polite service. The space feels surprisingly generous with its log house style, open ceiling, and hand-crafted wooden decorations, although the acoustic mix of radio shows and kitchen noise may not be to everyone's taste.
Frequented by locals, the menu is straightforward but offers flavorful meals such as their homemade hot sandwiches and a limited quantity of a curry set that includes coffee and cake. While the cafe does not provide delivery services, dine-in options include lunch and dessert, making it a snug spot for a peaceful break. Despite lacking a wheelchair-accessible car park, there is a small lot in front with six spaces that can accommodate patrons' vehicles. Payments are currently accepted in cash only, which could be slightly inconvenient for some visitors.
Unfortunately, details regarding updates from the owners remain sparse, with the most recent feedback appearing three months ago. If you're looking for a laid-back place to enjoy a warm drink by a fireside or perhaps relax in one of the rocking chairs during colder months, Slow Time offers just that in a neighborhood setting. Operating daily from midday until late afternoon, its inviting setting remains persistently quiet and charming for those who appreciate independent cafes operating within a modest price range.

Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
