The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to explain everything about the dishes we asked about. The food was absolutely solid — simply perfect! Everything tasted homemade and authentic. If you’re looking to try Ukrainian cuisine and genuinely good, homemade food, this place is definitely a must-try! Staying in an Airbnb right across from this beautiful, sensational restaurant, I had to try the cabbage rolls. Loved them! This could easily become my favorite regular stop. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Homemade Ukrainian food cooked with love. We went to Smakoliki at least 6 times during our stay in Riga. The place is perfect for breakfast as it opens quite early. Wide choice of breakfast options - omelettes (we haven't tried them, but they looked good), syrniki (very tasty!), and stuffed crepes with various fillings (we tried the chicken and mushroom ones, and they were really good). We also managed to try almost everything from their varenyky menu - with potatoes, cherries, and cottage cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious, but our favorites were the ones with cottage cheese filling. Service is friendly and welcoming. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. Oh, and they serve some amazing homemade cakes and savory pastries, too! We definitely will be back next summer! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
