This is about to be my new hyperfixation food. If you’re coming to Union Market only once, you’ve got to have this. The tuna musubi is phenomenal. Get extra sauce, it’s worth it. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Ahi Tuna Musubi, Premium Musubi Combo

Small Kine was an awesome experience from start to finish. The crispy lumpia was perfectly fried and paired so well with the vinegar dipping sauce—it really elevated the flavor (I prefer the vinegar dipping sauce over the sweet ones at other places). The salmon musubi was hearty, filling, and had a great smoky taste that made it really stand out. The shrimp dish was also excellent, with delicious seasoning and high-quality, generously sized shrimp. The mac salad is also really good and I don't really like mac salad. On top of the food, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was prepared quickly without feeling rushed. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for Filipino/Hawaiian food in DC. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
