My son and I drove 26 minutes each way to try this smash burger and it was worth every minute, if not more. Do yourself a favor and try Smash IE, bring a chair or stand at the back of your truck, it's worth it. Thank you Smash IE. They have Mexican Coca Cola as well, anyone who has that is a legit place. Plus the 90s rap bumping is a total vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

...stopped by Smash.IE in Riverside on Mount Vernon and had a great experience. The owner/cook is genuinely friendly, and you can tell he really enjoys what he does—that kind of energy shows in both the food and service. I ordered the double patty spicy burger, a single Smashy burger, fries, and a bottled Coca-Cola. The spicy burger was good, but I actually preferred the Smashy burger more—simple, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a smash burger. Ordering was quick and efficient, and I got my food in about 10–15 minutes. I was the only person in line when I ordered, but people were constantly coming and going the whole time—there was never a moment when it felt empty. Most people seem to order, grab their food, and head out. I ended up just eating in my car, which worked out perfectly. The menu is simple, which makes choosing what you want easy and fast. The spot itself is in a dirt lot with plenty of parking, so no issues getting in and out. Overall, I give this place 5 stars. If you’re craving a smash burger and want something different from the usual heavyweights like In-N-Out, Fatburger, or Habit Burger, this place is definitely worth checking Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fries, Double Smashy
