Making the world better one pineapple pancake and cran-orange cocktail at a time. Also try the Short Rib Moco Loco on the spring specials menu if you like delicious Hawaiian food. This place is fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about the food and service, everything was delicious and the server was so nice when we asked questions about recommendations, modifications and allergies. Rating: I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but my recent visit to Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, compels me to share my experience. Let me begin with the positives - the restaurant's location is convenient, offering ample seating, friendly staff, and a well-stocked bar. The menu, though extensive, is not overwhelming and easy to decipher. However, my excitement dwindled when I tasted the food. I ordered the burrito, and my lunch date opted for the tostada. Despite their promising descriptions, both dishes fell short of our expectations, lacking the authentic Mexican flavors we anticipated. It's safe to say that if you're seeking genuine, traditional Mexican cuisine, this might not be the ideal choice. I strongly advise avoiding the burrito and tostada; they left us disappointed and regretful. Additionally, the service was notably sluggish, from the wait for a table to the delayed process of receiving my change after payment. I empathize with the staff, as they seemed understaffed during our visit, especially for a weekday lunchtime rush. I couldn't help but feel that choosing options like "THE SNOOZE CLASSIC" or the "MONTE CRISTO BRIOCHE TOAST" might have resulted in a more satisfying experience. Despite this disappointing encounter, I am willing to give Snooze another chance in the hope that my next visit will be more pleasant. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time.
