Best cold soba tempura I’ve had in Japan. The tempura batter is delicate and light, and the soba dipping sauce has a really nice salty depth. The scallion yakitori was also excellent as it fresh and well-prepared. Staff were kind and helpful, and there’s a full English menu, so it’s easy to navigate even without shared language (Google Translate works great too if needed). Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto. Came back multiple times during my stay. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

as a little stupid american, i came in not expecting much. only to have the best noodles ive ever had (minus pho). the server was friendly, the chef was friendly, and the recommendation was incredible. 10/10 great vibe

Visited 2026 June. Great soba and friendly service. The staff does not speak English but they have English menu and instructions ready. We had Nishin soba and the spicy turnip cold soba. Both were really good. The prices in google seem to be outdated though. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
