Frozen vegetables at inflated prices. The restaurant is beautifully located, with a great view, the menu reads appealingly and given the prices and the many positive reviews, we expected a corresponding level of quality. The service was fine. We wanted to keep our jackets at our table as usual in the restaurant, but were asked to hang them on the coat rack, otherwise the chairs would be damaged by the jackets. . The ambience is Sauerland rustic. I had tagliatelle with shrimps and Mediterranean grilled vegetables in garlic olive oil Ordered €18.50. The grilled vegetables were a thawed ready-made mix from the freezer. The sauce was a fatty sauce that I couldn't define. When asked, the lady from the service stated that it was actually frozen goods, as the vegetables (zucchini, beans, carrots, peas...) were not available seasonally. (I don't understand what this has to do with Mediterranean grilled vegetables). The lady from the service said that she had ever asked if everything was OK and I didn't respond straight away. She did not respond to my later request or suggestion to serve guests fresh products. It seems to be a matter of course to work with ready-made products. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat half the plate anymore because it was all swimming in fat. The vegetables on the other plate were obviously another frozen mix like you would find at the local discount store. Conclusion: once and definitely never again. We should have listened to our neighbors, they had already advised us against it. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Dear Ms. Karkoska, You were the only person at the table who didn't eat, but when asked …Dear Ms. Karkoska, You were the only person at the table who didn't eat, but when asked occasionally replied: "Everything is fine." You were the only one who complained about your food when it was cleared away. Also, you definitely misunderstood something about frozen vegetables. It was explained to you in detail that I buy the vegetables fresh, process them, vacuum seal them and then, yes, you're right, freeze them in portions. There was never any mention of seasonal. But that doesn't change the freshness of the vegetables. On the contrary, all vitamins remain completely contained. Why am I doing this? Due to planning and sustainability. But that has absolutely nothing to do with any vegetables from the bag at the discount store. You won't find anything like that with us. And no other finished products either. I cook completely alone in the kitchen and I don't know how many times a day the dish with Mediterranean vegetables will be ordered. As a company, we clearly distance ourselves from today's situation Throwaway society and want to waste or throw away as little food as possible. If I were to store all food unprocessed in cold storage and, if necessary, only need a small amount of the food required for the dish due to demand, What do you think happens to the rest? Exactly, due to its limited shelf life, it ends up in the trash. I avoid this by processing it beforehand. The Mediterranean vegetables consist of zucchini in yellow and green, pea pods, Peppers and cherry tomatoes. Carrots and beans are not included there at all. The fatty sauce you complain about is a broth made from various vegetables, with garlic, basil and a little olive oil. The proportion of olive oil is so small that it does not separate and everything floats in fat, as you have described here. To come back to the topic of jackets. We kindly asked you to hang these on the coat rack. We generally don't hang jackets over the back of our chairs, especially on days when it rains. Because the chairs have a fabric cover. We have a cloakroom that you can keep an eye on as a guest. In the winter garden there are already chair covers over the chairs because the chairs are no longer attractive due to wear and tear. Zippers and the like simply lead to the seams and fabric on the chairs suffering in the long term. The chairs are not from a discounter, but from a specialist catering store and therefore do not correspond to cheap workmanship. Our conclusion to the evening that happened two weeks ago: We couldn't have done it better, we didn't meet your taste and you've already said everything once and never again. Food was good but prices too high. Easter portions were small. Steak had a maximum of 180 to 200 grams. Selected people got dessert from the house. It should be the same for everyone.

Dear Mr. Oppitz, Thanks for your review. …Dear Mr. Oppitz, Thanks for your review. We did not increase the prices at Easter, they correspond to the prices of our a la carte menu and we have not increased prices there either, despite an increase in VAT. These prices in turn are made up of various factors. Our steaks are always 230-250 grams. Of course, it can be harder if you ask. If you had said something on the spot, we could have fixed the problem immediately. Nobody has to go home hungry here. The gentlemen who received dessert were actually part of the family and I didn't miss the opportunity to have a dessert served at my expense. Of course, every other guest had to pay for their dessert. But that doesn't change the fact that every guest is equally important to us. Please feel free to talk to us on your next visit and I will serve you a larger portion. Thank you very much and have a nice Easter Monday Best regards Laura van SoestMore
