Y'all food was ???? bomb!!! When I have to come back to Houston for treatments I will definitely stop bye again! Y'all were great cooks and treated us Como familia!

I visited Sofrito TWICE. Both times, the owners did not handle the food properly. Today when I placed an order, the guy grabbed the empanadas (from the freezer) with his bare hands and put them into the fryer; he didn't use gloves. Prob the only reason he didn't pick up the empanadas from the fryer with his hands was because they were HOT. From handling other food to handling storage items to taking my payment ... he used his bare hands. I wish I had a way to reach Chef Gordon Ramsay to come in and teach Sofrito proper food handling procedures. Germs and bacteria spread by touch.The culture of Sofrito is not up to standard and puts its customers at risk.My health is important to me. So, until the owners prioritize proper food handling, I cannot patronize the business.IF you want to roll the dice with your health @ Sofrito... WATCH how your order is handled. Notice whether gloves are used AND whether anyone washes their hands, then VOTE with YOUR dollar!
