Not only should Galleria Nicolas be visited, but also Soi. Ignore other places, discover the Thai menu at this restaurant. Soi guarantees you good shrimp pad thai, spring rolls and satay.

Most visitors find the staff gracious. Guests say that the service is enjoyable here. From the guests' viewpoint, the atmosphere is charming. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

After waiting arround 10 minutes I have been able to get a seat at 8:20 pm in Soi Thai restaurant tonight. After having a seat I still received the menu but since that nobody felt responsible to take my order or to serve me there. It honestly took 15 minutes before one the confused going arround waiters and waitresses was kindly be willing to take my oder. At this time it came out that seafood curry was not available, so my oder has been fresh spring rolls, chicken green curry, plain rice and 1 Pepsi Max. After only me and my seatneighbours (one couple) = 3 persons were ordering as new guests it took nearly another 30 minutes that .... not the starter .... but the chicken curry has been surved. When I asked about the starter, the waiter explained friendly that he would have served the chicken before that it might not get cold..... within the next 5 minutes the starter has been served also.... but not my drink yet. After I have been friendly remaining my drink it took another 5 minutes before I received a can of Pepsi Max = 35 minutes for serving one can of coke !!!
After that the waiter tried two times to deliver something with baked cheese to me. After it refused that again and explained my simple order .... it came out that this oder has been for the other 2 new guests on the table 25cm to the left...... The fresh spring rolls were quite dry and for my taste quite far from the orginal taste in Thailand or Vietnam. But the chicken green curry was tasting good.... spice but just ok     I received the bill after my request but after that nobody felt responsible again to take the book with the bill and the money i put inside. I had to take the book in my hands, and give it to a waitress that I had to stopp on her way through the restaurant......I honestly have been thinking about if I might have been become part of a hidden camera moovy .... This has been the worst service I can remember in an international restaurant in the Philippines .... in Europe a place with a service like that would go broke within 2 weeks.
So my personal summary ist better save the time and nerves and go for dinner somewhere else....
