I have mix feeling for this kind of places, in the morning its a beautiful pastry shop and in the evening its a french restaurant, I had been in the morning. Everything is sooooo beautiful! Just tell you but me and eat now!!! I took one of the best selling pastry the one with pistachio, the pistachio parline is very good but again something that repeats in Athens in many places the dough is tasteless, maybe is the butter they use or maybe something else, this is for my taste only. I visited Soléne in the afternoon for some croissants as I have heard so much about this new place in Athens city center. I tried the pistachio croissant and the chocolate croissant. On both the "dough" was so crispy and aromatic. I expected more filling on the chocolate one. The pistachio was more tasty for sure. Worth mentioning that the vibe & decoration is amazing, the staff is super friendly. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: €5–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried the new Solene Athens today and it’s such a cute spot. Lovely location, beautiful decoration, and those clean, soft colours that make the whole place feel calm and fresh. The coffee was really good, and the girl at the counter was very kind and welcoming. It’s self-service, which keeps things simple and relaxed. I also tried the brioche—tasty, but at €12 it felt a bit expensive for what it was, and I didn’t notice any prices displayed, which was a little confusing. Overall, a very pretty place with a nice vibe and good coffee. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
