We came from Seattle to enjoy the beaches of Miami. We stopped by to visit a childhood friend of my wife who works at the "Soleo" restaurant. The server was fine, friendly, but when the appetizers arrived at the table, a supervisor or another employee told her friend that she had to leave the table and couldn't be there at that moment. We had to order the food to go and finish sharing it somewhere else. It was in very poor taste and showed a bad attitude. I work in the service industry, and this was my first time visiting the restaurant. In the eight years I've worked here, I've never reprimanded my employees, whether as a manager or coworkers, in front of a customer. That kind of thing should be discussed separately. I came to enjoy the beach, the company, and the food. Clearly, I couldn't. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
Pool bars don’t usually inspire devotion, but I kept coming back to this spot like it owed me money. Three visits in one trip and I’m an expert now. I had the crab salad the first day, shrimp aguachile the second day and the cobia ceviche the third day. I was possibly becoming a pool bar regular. A very solid pool bar with excellent service.
