one of the best restaurants ive tried in taiwan. budget-friendly too, reasonably-priced. good service, good vibes. we ordered pastas and they were cooked well the pastas were still kind hard at its core which is what you want. the pork chop was great didnt have that porky taste its simple yet complex, really felt natural like what the name suggests. the appetizers were great especially the potato pancake it was cheesy and with the sauce on the side it added another layer to it, that cinnamony taste with the truffle, it was spectacular. topped it all off with the basque cheesecake, the blue cheese part was an acquired taste but the regular burnt cheesecake part blew my mind, the cheesy flavor on top of the burnt taste and texture made that bite so complex and rich it really blew my mind. great dining experience i highly recommend it. the house wine wasnt bad either and reasonably priced as well.

The restaurant is nice, and the food is pretty good. I’m Italian and always enjoy having Italian food now and then. The squid pasta with black ink is especially good and reminds me of my hometown, Venice. The octopus and the pasta alla Norcina are also excellent, and the prices are reasonable too. The food is not bad and price is decent. However, the BIGGEST problem of Solo Pasta is making a reservation. I called as instructed between 3-5 pm but no one answered. I tried to contact them using LINE again no reply. If you are so short-handed like many other restaurants, tried using one of these on-line reservation systems.
