Overall, a mixed experience for us during our dinner here. The food didn't quite meet my expectations, but the service was excellent, especially from Ms Jean, who checked in on us and kept our table tidy between courses. The dishes were a touch oily and heavily seasoned for my taste, and the tiramisu base was a little too soggy, though the cream was lovely. Had our date night at Solo Ristorante! The spot is super cosy and relaxed, but with a refined vibe that makes every dish feel special. We went with a 4-course meal, kicking things off with warm crisp focaccia, refreshing hamachi carpaccio, melt-in-your-mouth foie gras, and decadent bone marrow topped with uni. Next was the Uni Tagliolini—silky, perfectly al dente, and packed with pure ocean umami. For mains, the super juicy medium-rare rack of lamb and fresh pan-seared fish in a rich tomato sauce somehow took the dinner to an even higher level. We wrapped everything up with the Solo Tiramisu for a classic, creamy finish. A solid spot for dinner—we're definitely coming back for that uni pasta! (And other dishes too).
