A friend and I stopped by for a bite before a concert at FiServ and are glad we did. We knew the menu is limited so came prepared to choose one of the four shareables. We shared a charcuterie board - more thank ample for our dinner. The service was superior, the atmosphere quiet enough to hold a conversation. We did have a reservation and probably didn’t need it at 5:00, but we were glad that we did as the space filled up quickly and table seating is limited. Will definitely return! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

Having never been to the Trade Hotel before, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Solomons. The menu was posted online, but when I clicked on it, nothing else opened which I thought was a glitch. Nope, the “dinner” menu only has 4 items that are more on the appetizer level. Our friends arrived before we did and the OpenTable reservation was in my name which was a little confusing because it was definitely more of a bar/lounge kind of a place and when my friends mentioned reservation, all the staff seemed very confused about why there would be a reservation, and said that they didn’t know what they were talking about . That being said, it’s a great place to hang out, and have a drink but it’s not a restaurant in the traditional sense. Great vibe, cool set up, comfy furniture options. We stopped here before a show at the Fiserv. We had a drink and ordered the charcuterie board which was mediocre at best when we saw other ones coming out after ours looking much more full with items that we did not have on ours (no breadsticks, crackers, crunchy like others had). Service was slow although we weren’t in a rush. My friends had bought and paid for the charcuterie board before we arrived and it was a good 30 minutes before it came out after we got there. When it came time to pay, my husband and I were only paying for our two drinks because our friends had already paid for the food and closed out their tab, knowing that it was going to get busy before the show, and the server charged us for charcuterie board. There was some confusion from what appeared to be the bar manager around what we were supposed to be getting charged for and a lot of back and forth before it got sorted out. I’m glad I looked at the tab because it would have been an easy miss that was double what it should’ve been. All in all, feels like a few kinks still need to get worked out??? We may be back for a drink because of the vibe— service and food sitch are missing the mark just a bit. Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
