Solono is pretty near Mikane Shrine. The truth is that you will really like good neapolitan pizza, pizza salads and vegetable pizza. Degust delicious wine or good margaritas. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at this restaurant.
Solono is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are found affordable here. There is enjoyable atmosphere at this place, as people see it. 4.1 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

Our pizza took quite some time but it was busy so 100% understandable! It was hands down the best pizza we have ever eaten and the staff and owning couple were amazing and sweet! We would absolutely come back and recommend this place 100% We are foreigners btw and we got treated so nicely and there wasn’t a change of pricing like the other review said! Solono came as a recommendation from a friend and we could not be more thankful! We had a fantastic afternoon lunch here. The cheese and meat antipasta dishes were very delicious. The pizza was delectable as well and very well made in their beautiful pizza oven! The Funghi was our favorite and some of the tastiest mushrooms we’ve ever had. We would come back here in a heartbeat (and likely will before we leave Kyoto)! The gentleman working was serving the entire restaurant while also cooking which was very impressive. Service was attentive and kind. The space inside can fit a few people at the bar and a few tables (2 to 4 people) so I would not expect to sit down with a large group, it’s just not possible.
