- ️ - Service 4/5 - Location & atmosphere 4/5. Is it possible to find Dim Sum in Rome that doesn't feel like a cheap imitation? Stumbling into Song on Via Valadier felt like a proper bit of luck. It’s tucked away in Prati, and while the prices clearly reflect the posh postcode, the experience is miles ahead of the usual tourist traps you find lurking near the Vatican. The food is absolute class—proper works of art on the plate that actually taste as good as they look. We got stuck into the ravioli tasting and it was a masterstroke of flavour, followed by a Peking duck that was seasoned to perfection. My boy was absolutely made up with it; he tucked in like a real connoisseur, and my wife was equally impressed. We even snared that charcoal bun with the gold leaf—a bit of a "flex" from the kitchen, but honestly, it was delicious. The service from the maitre was sharp and professional, with that genuine kindness you just can’t fake. Even the decor, with those gold reliefs, makes the whole thing feel like a proper event. If you want a sophisticated family meal and don’t mind digging a bit deeper into your pockets for the quality, this is the one. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch
