Offering perfectly cooked cheeseburgers, corn dogs and cheese sticks is the feature of this fast food. Good tea is worth trying here. Visitors don't highly appreciate ice cream at Sonic Drive-In.

This place with takeaway food is good for those clients who like to have dinner on the go. A number of guests note that employees are competent at this place. People mention that the service is terrific here. You will certainly like the cozy atmosphere. But guests rate this spot below average on Google.

Doesn’t take tap to pay then took my card to the back for 5 minutes and didn’t give a receipt. Common sense to not walk away from the window with a customers card. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, Kae. We understand how frustrating limited payment can be, and that’s not the level of service we want our guests to have. We're raising this to our team so we can address these gaps right away—thanks for bringing this to our attention.

@SONIC, y'all need some catching up to do. Virtually every Sonic has lost its values since the 2000's. I STRONGLY advise y'all to grab your things, leave your office desk, and come to this location to learn a thing or two from these 6 kids. The footlong cheese coney? 5-stars and on point! The cherry limeade? 5-stars and on point! The French fries? I don't even have the words to say...these are the best funnel cake flavored fries I've ever tasted! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the best part? I didn't leave without ketchup, even though I ALWAYS forget to ask. Why? Because unlike 99% of all fast food chains that don't ask or add it to the bag, I didn't have to ask. To make it so unbearable, they even walked over to personally hand me my drink once it was ready and my food once that too was done. Seriously though, Sonic, your 99.9999% of other locations need to do some training with these kids. Don't be a Crackle Barrel 2.0 because you are loosing touch of customer service and tradition. Y'all got rid of the skates instead of making it optional, you are making cheese coneys like it's the Hunger Games, theres no consistency with the signature cherry limeade, and now I see you are removing the red trays that you once placed on my window for a blue tray that looks nothing like the original red. Well guess what Sonic, this location just set the bar for ALL Sonic locations. I hope you, and I sat this sincerely, visit and learn from these kids that are bringing back my childhood fav Sonic I once loved! Shoot, I forgot to mention, I strongly urge you to commend whoever made my food and drink. Transaction was around 5:20PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. I have no receipt. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that the team at this location delivered such a memorable visit, especially with the footlong cheese coney and cherry limeade hitting the mark. It's great to know that the crew went above and beyond to ensure you had everything you needed, including the ketchup! We appreciate your feedback on maintaining our values and traditions across all locations. We'll make sure to pass your commendations to the team who made your visit special. We look forward to seeing you at the Drive-In soon!

Outstanding customer service and some of the nicest people we have meet on the open road. Nestled at 15 Russell Avenue in the heart of Warrior, Alabama—a quaint town in Blount County with roots tracing back to the early 20th century—Sonic Drive-In stands as a vibrant beacon of American fast-food nostalgia. This location, often listed under nearby Hayden due to postal quirks, buzzes with the classic drive-in charm that Sonic pioneered since 1953. Pull up to one of the striped stalls, and you’re transported to a simpler era: carhops on roller skates (or swift feet) deliver orders straight to your window, while upbeat tunes play overhead. Warrior, with its population hovering around 3,200, is a close-knit community of blue-collar families, railroad history buffs, and outdoor enthusiasts drawn to nearby Smith Lake. Sonic fits right in, serving as the go-to spot for locals grabbing a quick breakfast burrito on the way to work at the nearby Kimberly-Clark plant or unwinding with cherry limeades after a high school football game at Hayden High. The restaurant’s brick facade, integrated into the Logan Station Valero complex, offers a rare indoor seating area alongside the traditional drive-thru—perfect for rainy Alabama afternoons. The menu? A symphony of indulgence: quarter-pound cheeseburgers slathered in tangy sauce, footlong Coney hot dogs piled with chili and onions, crispy tots dusted in Cajun seasoning, and those legendary hand-mixed shakes in flavors from strawberry to Superman blue. Don’t miss the Ocean Water, a coconut-lime slush that refreshes like a Gulf Coast breeze. Happy Hour from 2-5 p.m. slashes drink prices, drawing crowds for half-off blasts and iced teas. Reviews paint a mixed but passionate picture: a solid 3.7 stars on platforms like Restaurantji, praising generous portions and friendly staff—“The shakes were very good,” raves one patron—but docking points for occasional long waits or order mix-ups. “Manager hooked us up with free cheese sticks,” notes a forgiving reviewer. Yet, gripes about closing-time refusals echo the small-town gripes that make places like this endearing. In Warrior’s unhurried rhythm, Sonic isn’t just fast food; it’s a ritual. Families pile into trucks for post-church Sundays, teens flirt over fries, and travelers off I-65 snag slushes en route to Birmingham. Amid Alabama’s rolling hills and iron-ore legacy, this Sonic pulses with flavor, fun, and that unmistakable red-roof allure—proving drive-ins endure where highways meet heart.
