Very very disappointed! We came because of the 4.9 reviews. We ordered: 1) 3 sides with 1 drink special 2) wagyu beef 3) assorted sashimi Food portion was kiddie size, flavor was so so, sashimi seems fresh, wagyu beef did not taste wagyu to me. Bathroom was clean though, ambience was okay. Will not come back!!!

My world is collapsing around me! My first restaurant visit in Japan was to Sou in Beppu. Me and a friend both had the best sashimi and steak of our lives. If you're in Beppu you owe yourself a trip to Sou. Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
