We are from Calgary and drove today for over 2 hours from where were we staying to see Peggy’s Cove lighthouse. it was nice to see that there was a restaurant in the area. We went in and decided to grab some dinner before we hit the road again. The waitress sat us by the window under the sun I asked her if we can sit to the other side which has no sun and more comfortable sitting, she responded me with ”those window are reserved!” I do not see sign that it's reserved so I asked again but she was determined to answer that it's “all reserved”. Unpolitely and inconsiderate to us tourists. I was craving for fish and chips and a freshly caught fish. The restaurant wasn't busy only 4 tables were occupied and she won't accommodate us. We drove to downtown Halifax and got our fish and chips at the Waterfront warehouse. Amazing service and the fish size too.5 to them. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$100+ Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

If you want local, and extremely fresh lobster, the best you can get in Nova Scotia is right here at the sou wester! The staff is so kind, welcoming, and friendly! The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, with the iconic cove lighthouse right at your window along the gorgeous seaside! I would recommend the lobster dinner, you get the lobster cooked with pairings, priced per pound at extremely fair pricing, the best priced prepared lobster fresh from the sea in the area. Also worth noting, the oysters are incredible for a starter! Definitely worth the drive to peggy's cove for the views, and I'd suggest making this resteraunt a must stop aswell if you visit here! Nice touristic place to check . Service was very good but food quality is medium over rated. Mussels where cold also chowder was a lot of potato inside had better one in bedford . Club sandwich was very good . Count 50 by person and add tip Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$50–60 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Fresh Steamed Mussels, Seafood Chowder, Lobster Club Sandwich
