A star only cause no gloves while serving wraps . Just got served by someone who used a towel to wipe the counter later grabbed wrap . No hygiene amongst staff I’ve noticed

Service with a Sneer Popped into Soul Origin today around 11:40 to 12 for a quick bite, and let’s just say the vibe was frostier than a commercial freezer. Working behind the counter were two gals—one blonde with a face like a wet weekend (seriously, zero smiles, totally unwelcoming), and a slim brunette with dark hair. Did either of them acknowledge I was standing there? Not a chance. They were deliberately giving me the cold shoulder, acting like I was invisible. In the end, I had to walk right up to the till and politely remind them I was waiting. Cue a fake, hollow apology—the kind dripping with zero sincerity—while she casually kept pottering around with other random tasks before finally serving me. And when she handed over the order? Not even a "have a good one" or a polite nod. Look, I’m not losing sleep over the lack of pleasantries, but let's call a spade a spade: the deliberate avoidance was crystal clear. It makes you wonder if they're playing amateur border security or acting out some weird white supremacist fantasy. But mind you, I’m actually against mass migration to Australia myself! And for the record, I’m certainly not part of any mass intake—I came over on a skilled migrant visa (subclass 189), which makes up a tiny fraction of the migrant pool. Let's be real, these ladies couldn't do my job in a million years. I’m not an investor snapping up all the housing stock or strategic assets, either. Besides, how do they even tick their little racial boxes when I’m half-Japanese and half-Finnish? Was it the accent? I reckon it might have been. But let’s get one thing straight: English is a global lingua franca, and the Aussie vernacular—as much as I love it—isn't the global gold standard. The owner might try to spin it, claiming it's all subjective or that the girls "were just busy." But trust me, you can't fake intuition. When your gut tells you something is off, that internal radar is rarely wrong. Spot-on racism, plain and simple. The owner just needs to check the security cameras and confirm it for themselves—the footage speaks louder than words. (Friday, 18.09.2026, at around 11:30 AM to 12 PM). Number 1: Love grabbing a coffee here. On the small times I've asked they have been able to make me a plant based wrap - even if it's not ready on show. When I grab a salad I like that at least 1 is plant based. Like anywhere it would be nice for more than 1 flavor but they still do alright by me! Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $1–20 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian is easier than vegan I think there is only 1 vegan choice. I enjoy the beetroot salad
