My greatest thanks to both the owner, and many amazing performers at Soul Trane for giving us an amazing Christmas show. You can tell this place is a great amalgamation of all of the performers love for their craft, and it shows in both the atmosphere and quality of the performances. All of the folks who participated whilst we were there were extremely sociable and happy to chat about music theory and education. They invited my friend up onto stage to give him a chance to play for fun, and they couldn't have been more inclusive or kind. The pianist and bassist tried their best to make sure my friend could get his time in the light, and I think that just goes to show that this isn't a "business", this is a group of people who are seriously dedicated and talented in the arts of Blues and Jazz.
