So, we're visiting from Atlanta and found this location in Mesquite. Thinking since we're in Dallas BBQ it is. So sad! The baked beans were not bakexclamation mark OMG! The potato salad was mashed

Soulman's Bar-B-Que is really good, they have a sign outside the building that say's " We're not stingie with our meat". Well went there today to get take out and for the first time of going there they were Stingie with the meat. Ordered a two meat dinner with sausage and beef, did pretty good on the sausage but with the beef, only 5 small pieces. Very disappointed with them, have always got good helpings with the meat. Never had this happen before. It was like the lady cutting the meat counted every slice to make sure she didn't give you over that amount. Love their bar-b-que but when you pay $16.00 for a two meat plate, and only get a small amount of meat, it makes you think if the sign outside should be taken down.
