Honestly one of the most underrated food spots in Sheffield. We’ve been back so many times and I can’t believe I never left a review earlier. The food here is made with real care and you can genuinely taste the difference. Even the sauces and salad dressing taste homemade instead of the usual bottled taste you get elsewhere. The garlic hot wings are a MUST order. Crispy, juicy and packed with flavour. The yaki udon is also amazing with proper wok hei and a rich savoury sauce. We had it with fried tofu which was perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, plus takoyaki with their homemade mayo style sauce which made it even better. The rice burgers were surprisingly good too, especially the salmon one. You can tell this place actually cares about flavour and cooking, not just presentation. Really hope more people discover this place because they deserve the support. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My old rice burger joint disappeared on infirmary road and I thought my cravings would have to go unanswered. But no! Behold Soulyaki Rice Burger just opposite Devonshire Green. I had a Soguyaki Pork with sesame mayo and they were happy to indulge my request for tomato AND szechuan flavour for my shake shake fries! Nice selection of Jpop playing and nice quaint decor! Top marks! Oh and if you've never had rice burger before - this is the Japanese style which is sushi rice in nori with a hot filling. They're deceptively filling too. If you like Japanese flavours and sushi, definitely give it a go! Kid-friendliness: Seems relatively kid friendly, although I'd say it's better suited to the more adventurous kids! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a large step to get from the street to the restaurant. Not a chance without help.
