I've missed coming w/my brother who passed 3 1/2 yrs ago. I live in Madison, so don't get there often anymore. But, the food is just as wonderful as I remember, and the new staff are great!

Passing through on vacation, we stopped at South Point restaurant. It has an old diner feel, and we enjoyed watching the locals conversing back and forth, and waitresses shouting, " I love you, see you tomorrow!" and calling everyone by name. We did not have to wait long for our food. We got the Friday fish fry. The generous portions were fresh, hot, and delicious. We were invited to come back next time we were just passing through. We totally recommend this place! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish Fry, Soup, Cole Slaw
