It's worth visiting this restaurant to try perfectly cooked chicken parmigiana, greek salads and chopped steaks. Most guests recommend trying good cheesecakes, pudding and waffles. Visit South Star Diner for great coffee.
This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The terrific waitstaff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. You may be surprised by democratic prices at this spot. It's usually a good idea to try something new, enjoying the lovely atmosphere. This restaurant is rated on Google 4.5 by its guests.

First time there. Delicious, fresh food. Chicken croquettes were all white meat, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. Roast turkey was tender with delicious gravy. The stuffing also seasoned wonderfully. Nothing oversalted--a common problem with many diners. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit! We came for a late dinner on the evening of 3/26 and it was our first time there since it changed hands and reopened as South Star diner. We both ordered seafood/pasta dishes and were highly impressed!!! The food and portion sizes were very good, from the Caesar salads to the entrees to the bread basket and to dessert (which we took to go). The diner is very clean and has a welcoming nostalgic charm when you walk in with a beautiful display of various cakes. It looks, smells, and feels like everything a diner should be. We were immediately seated and asked our drink orders, and our main order taken within minutes. Very pleasant and relaxed experience — did not feel rushed like you do at some dining establishments. Overall everything was outstanding without a single complaint. I’d also like to underscore HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Thank you! It is a huge treat to the local community and very much appreciated.
