Come to this restaurant for a break and order perfectly cooked mac-n-cheese, lamb cutlets and lamb. Nothing can be better than ordering good brownie sundae, chocolate fudge cakes and pecan pie. It's a must to taste delicious liqueur or good wine while visiting Southern Fire. You will be offered great strawberry milkshakes, vanilla milkshakes or caramel milkshakes.

Invite your friends to this place with a cosy atmosphere. Many people point out that the staff is attentive at this spot. Most visitors highlight that the service is prompt. Based on the reviewers' opinions, prices are fair. Fine decor lets the visitors relax. But google users rated this restaurant and it didn't receive a high rating.

Just spent $74 on two smothered pork chop dinners and one braised rib dinner. A true waist on time. There was barley and gravy on the pork chops, and the smallest piece of cornbread on the side. Pork chops where barley seasoned and the braised ribs taste just like they where smothered in thyme. My fiancé was unable to eat her dinner. I don’t understand the hype. Just a waste of time driving from Romulus to downtown Detroit

I stayed with patients because of my memories from back in the day. The gravey wasn't gravey  or did they just feel since I was a carry out we're give her anything. I always look at my food because people have a tendency of placing anything in the carry out box. First the cornbread was burn't, sent that back. No gravey on smoothed pork chops ( they fried the chops& poured what they called gravy on it, a little) the yams wasn't sweet. I'm upset but won't complain because I'm never returning. This place has to have new owners. Alexander would never treat his guess like that. Oh did they sell this place to Steve also. I even had to ask for cranberry sauce. Yes I still gave a Tip but my new TIP IS GO WITH WHAT YOU KNOW.. Hands down for Southern Fries on Belvedere off Jefferson

Such a shame that this place closed down. It had really great food and a great atmosphere. Most Sundays after church you'd have to wait to get a seat but it was well worth it!
