If could only bring one food item to live on for the rest of my life it would be Southen Roots Onion pie. I’d love to share a picture, but I devoured it so dang fast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So, the food was outstanding. Fairly priced, but expensive. No complaints there. That said, the restaurant was so cold that we had to move outside, even though it had been raining. It was 100% miserable in there. Like a meat locker I'm cold all the time, but everyone around us was shivering. Outside, we got to enjoy inhaling someone's smoke break. My wife's side was "going to come out later." That apparently meant after we finished eating, we asked for it again, and they had to go cook it. Not a great out for Southern Roots. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

If and when you get to High Point, North Carolina visit Southern roots restaurant. Simply put the most delicious flavorful and unique southern cooking found in North Carolina. I had a mixed plate with some of the best collards I’ve ever had eggplant. French fries were amazing. Don’t miss this little Jewell. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
