I love this place! Excellent cooking and size proportions, the staff is always friendly and welcoming to customers. I enjoy this place every time I'm in the area. Go there one time and you'll be a regular! Price per person: $10–20

This is what I think of when I think of Jackson, Mississippi. There was not a single thing I tried at this place that I did not thoroughly enjoy. The best Mac and cheese I've ever had, and I'm particular and picky about my Mac. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner here will fill and satisfy your hunger. And the folks running this place are a delight. I will be back one day to eat that delicious food again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Southern Spice is the name, Southern Soul Food is the game. A meat, two sides and a roll or cornbread is the meal. Choices include; juicy fried chicken, baked bbq chicken, hamburger steak w gravy and onions or ribs were the meats today. Vegetable/sides included; super creamy, cheesy Mac and cheese, rice, gravy, black eyed peas and broccoli. Corn bread or a they-made-it soft roll. Tea and soft drinks are available. A steady stream of to-go orders throughout the lunch hour. 6 four-top tables if you want to dine in. R&B music in the background. Bright colors in the dining room. Friendly service.
