Listen, I was a chef for 20 years and know when I'm being served frozen crap and this was definitely not the case. This place was awesome, great food and friendly service. Would definitely recommend and everything down to the chocolate mousse cake far exceeded my expectations Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I truly appreciated the environment of the Southside Grill. As a Pittsburgh sports fan, I appreciate the relics they have posted on the wall and appreciated trading barbs with the family and friendly staff who treated us so well. And, the food was really good. I had the Pittsburgher and my family had the grilled & fried seafood platters. We left stuffed! Of course, I had to egg my family on to try a piece of homemade carrot cake (we got three forks, but I admit, I didn't share well!). I look forward to going back and trying more on the menu and also saving room for the home baked pies and cakes!! Great place!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
