We discovered this place by chance, and enjoyed an assortiment of bruchettas and a charcuterie plate, accompanied by a dry white wine recommended by the sommelier. Our most enjoyable evening in Rome. Would gladly come back on our next visit. Price per person: €20–30

We stumbled upon this place on our first afternoon in Rome, and what a lucky find! Menus only in Italian (must be a good sign) but such helpful service with recommendations. Even with the wine choice, she came over with 4 bottles and described them all! It was delicious, would recommend. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I highly recommend finding Spaccio Grosso. Thomas and Ana were great hosts and made us feel welcome. Thomas took his time to understand what wines we liked and his passionate expertise helped us choose two lovely wines. He explained the wines and the amazing meat and cheese plater we chose.
