What a find! We had lunch at this restaurant and it was very good. Service was excellent. We went on to have dinner at esmee- this was a waste of time - the food and service was terrible. Well done La Perla- much better than overpriced and poor food at Esmee. My boyfriend and I was out eating yesterday at spaghetteria La Perla. At the first impression we love it and the atmosphere. We tried Mare e Monti as an appitizer. It tasted overall good but the shrimps tasted a little bit weird like they have been frozen.That gut feeling should we have been more concerned about because we ended up with food poison later that night. It was horrible.I'm sad to give this review because we loved the atmosphere and everything but because of that experience we will not visit the restaurant again.
