I needed to find a place that was open around 10 pm on a Wednesday night. I came across this one and saw that the prices were quite reasonable (considering I was in Lugano). I ordered pasta with sausages and mushrooms. It tasted really good and the portion was generous, plus I could sprinkle on plenty of grated Parmesan cheese. I left the restaurant and was the last customer as they were just closing up, so I was lucky. The location was very central and good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking along the riverfront and decided to give it a try. We ordered two drinks and two main courses, and the total was 67.–. It’s very reasonably priced considering the generous portions—they definitely don't skimp on the seafood! We are deeply disappointed and hurt by the experience we had at Spaghetti Store Ristorante Pizzeria in Lugano. As a Black couple, we were subjected to racist insults and unacceptable treatment during our visit. While we were calmly getting up to leave on our own, the owner aggressively approached us, shaking our chairs in a threatening manner — my partner nearly fell. We were kicked out of the restaurant without reason, under cold and hostile stares that made us feel completely unwelcome. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful but clearly racist and dangerous. No one should ever feel unsafe or dehumanized because of their skin color.
