If you are in the mood for TexMex, I guess you absolutely have no choice but to go to Spanglish. The place is a bit small but its the most popular along the strip of restaurants in the area. Weekends are quite busy so it would be wise to come in early. Parking is not a problem and there is a security guard. The menu is not too extensive but it worked to their advantage as the prep time and quality of the food is excellent. The bite-sized Soft Taco is delicious. The soft shell is not too thin. Just right enough to hold the fillings and not absorb the liquid from the meat and the sauce. Pair it with the 2 hot sauce (Hot and Very Hot) on the table and there you go. The Chili Con Carne is tasty and served in a tortilla bowl. Its has a hint of spiciness which I wish could be elevated more as it packs a lots of flavor. Although the Nachos is good, I did find the cheese a bit thick with a textural feel almost like a cold cream sauce. Overall the verdict is... The food is really good and It makes me feel sad for the rest of the shops beside it. Will obviously be back again to try the other menu in the near future. Buen Provecho.
