The staff are really friendly. The food was served promptly and piping hot. I'd highly recommend starting with a sharing starter as the portions are large. We were the only diners in the dining room and I would be intrigued to visit the restaurant when it has an atmosphere to enjoy. Of all the meals out my party ate during out short break in Pickering, this was by far the best value for money. Back in 2 years wow changed is not the word. Had food mixed grill over half plate chips & meat okay asked for rare for well done. Attitude staff good owner awful dirty dishes full of scrap food & glasses left in conservatory was in there 40min playing pool non staff come to clean 1 table let alone the 7 or 8 full awful Lager no head in lager so asked to stop at a point so I'd have a head, slammed glass on bar. Pool table not releasing balls for a full game, asked if they could get ball. Owner immediately put an out of order on it and give him the pound back. Forget it keep the quid. Lived this place atmosphere and staff was ace. Never again shocking dnt go. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90 Food: 2 Service: 1
